DESCRIPTION

The Berkshire Pride 5K and 1 mile Walk kicks off Pride Month in June for the City of Pittsfield. It serves as a fundraiser for Berkshire Pride and supports the Pride Festival that takes place at the First Street Common.

Berkshire Pride is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization. The mission is to provide safe spaces and events where LGBTQIA+ community members can live and thrive as their authentic selves, not only during Pride Month, but throughout the year.

Berkshire Pride Fest is the Berkshires’ annual LGBTQIA+ Pride Festival & Parade. Started in 2017, Berkshire Pride welcomes over 1,000 members of the LGBTQIA+ community in The Berkshires and beyond.  Every June, with community partners, they come together to show their pride, celebrate successes, and stand in solidarity for the marginalized.

For businesses interested in being a part of this event, or for any questions, please contact Shiobbean Lemme.
