DESCRIPTION
Thanksgiving morning is reserved for the Thankful 5K. This event is a fundraiser for local food pantries. Pittsfield serves the largest population at its local pantries than any other community in Western Massachusetts. Over 800 families are served weekly, and sadly that number grows daily. The annual Thankful 5K raises thousands of dollars and donations for the pantries. In 2022, race participants donated over 3,000 pounds of non-perishable food to the South Congregational Food Pantry.
For businesses interested in being a part of this event, or for any questions, please contact Shiobbean Lemme.
